Villa Angelica is an old country house surrounded by a rustic garden and with terraces that have spectacular views of the coast, of the sea and of Positano. The apartment has its own special entrance from the garden and its own terrace with sea views. You arrive at Villa Angelica from the center of Nocelle by a tiered path of 150 steps. Nocelle is famous along the Amalfi coast for the spectacular panoramic view of the sea and Positano seen from on high, for its clear fresh summer air. From Nocelle there is a famous path for trekking which winds near the top of the mountains of the coast, and because of the extraordinary beauty and the breathtaking panoramas which you are allowed to discover it is called “Sentiero degli Dei” (Path of the Gods). Nocelle is an area of Positano which is roughly 5 km (3 miles) from the centre of Positano and 5 km (3 miles) from the beach. There is a local bus which goes to the centre of Positano every hour.

Villa Angelica is an ideal place to stay for anyone who desires a relaxing holiday in contact with nature in a area with only few tourists but at the same time who wants to be near the places of high tourist interest, such as Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri and Pompei. From Nocelle it only takes a twenty minutes to reach Positano, from there it is possible to take the bus to all the tourist destinations on the coast or you can take a ferry to visit the coast by sea or to reach the island of Capri and the others in the Gulf of Naples. To stay at Villa Angelica you do not need a car. The swimming pool is placed in a fantastic panoramic position. It is built on a spur of the cliff, which seems to reach out for the sky and the sea. Standing on the solarium that surrounds the pool, you will be able to admire a wide view of Positano, down to the beach and the sea. The house has a large terrace which is equipped with deck chairs and romantic garden furniture (barbeque, table, chairs),and is a great place from which to admire the view. This is a place where you can relax in complete privacy, or perhaps dine in the moonlight. From the terrace you can enter the living room, which also has a nice view of the sea. In the leaving room you will find a dining area and a setting area with TV. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, an oven, a fridge/freezer. From the leaving room you can enter the first bedroom with a double bed and balcony which opens on the terrace so that the first thing you will see when you wake up is the sky and the sea.The other bedroom has a two single beds. Villa Angelica has one bathroom with a shower and wash machine tiled with “Vietri Majolica “. The house has satellite TV, radio and CD player, as well as small appliances such as hair dryer and iron.

How to reach

If you arrive by car from North or South take direction to Naples. If you are coming from North look for sign "Penisola Sorrentina" and "Costiera Amalfitana" (the sign written on the brown). Than take the exit of "Castellamare di Stabia". If you are coming from South take the same exit of "Castellamare di Stabia" about 20 km. before Naples. After then look for sign Sorrento and Positano, arriving a Meta di Sorrento take left on the indication to Positano. If you’ ve missed it take next left , which will connect with the same road to Amalfi or Positano. When you have reached Positano, 300 mt from view point "Belvedere"( the top picture) take the road on your left to Montepertuso-Nocelle. After 4 km. the road will finished into the big parking lot of 2 levels, where will be even Bus stop. Then you need 2 min to walk to our place. If you arrive by SITA bus the nearest stop is 20 minutes from the house. You ask to the driver to stop you the first bus stop near “ Bivio di Montepertuso”. From here you can take the local bus called Flavio Gioia sign MONTEPERTUSO – NOCELLE and ask the driver to stop you at last stop in Nocelle one there you call the attendant of the house who will wait you at the bus stop or at the meeting point. Security Deposit Upon arrival at Villa Angelica the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 200, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure minus any extra charges or accidental damages to the property.
