This pleasant little place at 20 km. from Siena is 578 m. above sea level
and enjoys the view of three valleys. It is a quaint village surrounded
with medieval walls and protected by a huge battlemented fortress and
tower. For the most part it's a sleepy little Tuscan village. Life seems to
go at a very slow pace here, and there are as many locals as tourists.
