Antica Magione is an ancient house dating back to the 14th century,
located in the medieval hamlet of Strove near the Castle of Monteriggioni
and Chianti hills, at only a few km. from Siena and San Gimignano.
Florence and Volterra are easy to reach.
The house is part of an agricultural farm approx. 6 hectares large where
extra-virgin olive oil and Chianti red wine D.O.C.G. Colli Senesi are
produced.
The property which has a terraced garden and is surrounded by a 5.000 sq.
mt. park, is located inside the village walls and boasts a wonderful view.
The nearby private swimming pool (7 x 14 mt.) is for guest
use only.
Antica Magione is furnished with period pieces and 4 bedrooms are double or
twin-bedded equipped, each with its own private bathroom with shower; there
are also 2 living rooms and a fully equipped kitchen for snacks, tea and
meal preparation.
Services: 1 satellite TV, kitchen with electric oven, gas-fired (G.p.l.)
stove top area and refrigerator, dishwasher, bathroom to use like a laundry,
private garden, private swimming pool (7 x 14 mt.), private car park without
attendant, public telephone, grocery shop and restaurant in the hamlet of
Strove. Pets are not allowed. Open all year round.
Distances: 4 km from the town of Colle di Val d’Elsa (post office, bank,
chemist, police station, newsagent, tobacconist, restaurants, bus lines) –
approx. 15 km north of Siena, 18 km from San Gimignano and 46 km from
Florence. |

per person, central heating g.p.l. on consumption Euro 3,50 per cubic
meter, one obligatory weekly cleaning during the week Euro 13,00 per hour,
laundry-room in self-service Euro 45,00 per week. Refundable security
deposit : Euro 400,00 to put down as a deposit by cash to the owner of the
house at the moment of your arrival.
